The luck system! Its what we used in my old guild.
Everybody gets 50 points when the system starts, everybodys mains that is.
When anything that would have been bided on in the old system drops everybody that wants it rolls for /random 100 and adds the LP (luck points) they curently have. The one that wins it pays for it with 50 LP or all LP if they have less then 50 LP.
After the one that won it gets it everybody else gets 1 LP.
So if you just won you would have 0 LP and the others +1LP
So when first person have won it would be him 0LP everybody else 51LP
And you dont loose any LP if you dont win a loot piece.
So the more loot you see drop the bigger your chanse to get the things you need when they drop.
But you have always got a chanse to win if you roll realy high ...if everybody else rolls low 99-100 +0LP is better then 30 +51LP wich will always give you a chanse to win even if it isnt very big
This system might work best in a guild only raid though, since you can only get the +50LP at one time when the system starts.
